Frequently asked questions

How do I clock in?
Open the app and tap the clock-in button on the main screen. Worklio will start recording your time immediately. Tap again when you're done to clock out.
How do I create a new timesheet?
Go to the Sheets tab and tap the + button. Give your sheet a name — a client name, job title, or pay period — and it’s ready to use.
Can I edit a time entry after the fact?
Yes. Open the relevant sheet, tap the entry you want to change, and you can update the start time, end time, or any notes.
What happens if I forget to clock out?
You can manually edit the entry. Open the sheet, find the open entry, and set the correct end time.
How do I set up overtime rules?
When creating or editing a sheet, expand the Advanced section. You can set an overtime threshold (hours per day), an OT pay multiplier, a red day multiplier for public holidays, and choose whether to round hours.
How do I export a PDF report?
Open a sheet, tap the export button, and choose PDF. A clean, professional report will be generated and ready to save or share in a few taps.
Is my data backed up to the cloud?
No — Worklio stores everything locally on your device. Your data is private and available offline. We recommend using iCloud Backup (built into iOS) to keep your data safe.
Does Worklio require an account or subscription?
No account needed and no subscription. Worklio is a one-time download with no ongoing fees.
How do I delete a sheet or an entry?
Swipe left on any entry or sheet to reveal the delete option. This action cannot be undone, so double-check before confirming.
What iOS version does Worklio require?
Worklio requires iOS 17.0 or later and works on both iPhone and iPad.
